The SE-520 Seahorse case is made from polypropylene. A tough, watertight, airtight, and lightweight material that is also rugged and economical. There is an o-ring on its border or perimeter that helps seal all your items against dust, water and other substances that can cause contamination. Once your item is on the foam, you can use pins to trace the shape on the pick and pluck foam, after which you detach the number of small sized foam to allow your item fit securely into the hole.
Even when you’re SE-520 Seahorse case is open, you can still protect your stored equipment by the help of the panel kits. You are to install the kits which are made from thin sheet aluminum (plates are about 0.063 thick) and come with screws, o-rings for the screws and a single perimeter gasket, which assist in waterproofing the bottom part of your case. Note that the top panel is not watertight and you can have a customized cutout for both panels customized done to your specification.
